Run Run Run

I'm am pretty please with myself - I conquered the alarm again! Wohoo, so hoping I can back into a regular get up and get out habit. Fingers-crossed my little mini-vacation over labor day doesn't squash the progress.
This morning I ran 3.1 miles in 40 minutes. It was rough going, with getting back into the weights I have muscle groups that are complaining!
The loop I was running starts off with a couple little hills which about killed me each time I looped around, but I need to work on those hills.
The first mile my calves were screaming at me. They finally loosened up, then my thighs kicked in, and by mile 3 my left foot hit the numb stage again. It didn't last too long, I was able to work it out, but it was like my body was just falling apart. So I kept my pace nice and easy and tried to just enjoy the tunes and watching the sun come up.
I miss the light already - and it's going to just get darker and darker! sigh.
So Friday I am planning on putting in a yoga tape at home. Then I get to take the boy to finish up school shopping.
Saturday I have on tap for my long run - 6 miles this week, Sunday is an exercise rest day. I have lots of house project's planned for these 2 days so
Monday I am going to either put in a tape or add a 3-5 mile run. I don't have to go into work, but I do need to work on my class. I am thinking of a family float down the river or hitting a beach.
Tuesday is kid's back to school day! I am going to drop off the Kindergartner and head up to the gym and find something fun and relaxing to do (movie, nails, me shopping...) before I have to pick her up at 3.
Sometime during this time I am going to prep and plan for the next week or so.
I need to get a handle on the nutrition.
So I can run run run my way to October.
