So, when it seems the clutter can't be gone
Even if I start working at early dawn
The rule of "throw 50 things out a day"
Must be my battle cry and by the way . . .
Though disorganized I may just be
Please say something good about me
With words of grace 'cause I may really be
Called "spontaneous and creative with flexibility."
Today I choose the description 'over-extended'
Too much to do! My small space up-ended!
Need to say 'yes' a whole lot less, and 'no' a whole lot more
When I see what must be done, things must change that's for sure!
A little explanation may be in order here. We live in less than a 1200 sq foot home. I do two small businesses out of my house and also am involved in ministry. Each of these have many reference books and files involved. I have boxes and shelves of sewing and crafting material. We have no attic, so I took the room my son use to have for an "attic" type storage. I am constantly moving things around to make room to work. In prayer, I have asked the Lord, who loves me dearly (DH says he does, too) to help me dispose of things I will not need, and will not have to replace if I toss or donate the items. Have already worked on clothes and some books. More books and crafting materials to work on. Recent physical problems have taxed my strength ability to do what I plan from day to day.
On a lighter note: Darling Husband says "When we get our new house, you are going to have one room all to yourself for everything." SInce we are so close to retirement (2 to 4 years), I couldn't catch his vision. Within the past week, however, I chose to start saying what he says, "When we get our new house . . ."
God Bless you and thanks for reading my blog!
