Walking with dogs

Wednesday, August 28, 2013

I love my dogs - all four of them. I love walking with them too but honestly just remember the good parts of the walk instead of the silly things they do. I keep thinking - oh that's going to be so relaxing. We will have this leisurely stroll by the lake. Its kinda like how the pain of childbirth fades from the memory and then when you are in labor with the next one you are like "oh yeah that did hurt last time too" but then you see the baby.
Ok now back to the leisurely stroll - its more like walk, stop, sniff, pee, walk, stop, sniff, pee, walk, stop, sniff, pee ... times 4. So then I notice I'm talking to the dogs (yeah its a little one sided) and this is how it goes: don't eat that, nice job pooping on that weed, are you done sniffing yet, do you have to stop and pee on everything, just how big is your bladder anyway, mikey - quit humping joey, oh what good doggies you are!

Now how could resist those eyes!!!
My dog doesn't understand why I don't want a kiss.

Well I have just been out will him seen him jump in a stinky ditch and pulled him away from eating sheep pooh.

But all is forgiven when he sits by my side and looks at me with his big brown eyes. emoticon
Rock on joey and mikey!!

I love dogs. I think I will look into getting another. I have had 5 in my 66 years.
If I get a dog I will have to go out 3 times a day emoticon

They sound great! I only have a small fluff but she's the same way wanting to sniff and pee and snoop... Sometimes though she does quite well keeping up and steady...
