Tried out my new scale this morning. As I predicted, I weigh 5 pounds more on it than on my old scale (so now no more yucky surprises when I go to the Doctor and get weighed!) I've spent awhile this morning getting all my settings changed and entering my new goal, and now I'm ready for part two of this weight loss challenge. As it turns out, I'm half done, 20 pounds down, and 20 more to go. I set my goal for December 31, but I'm doubting whether it will happen by then. The pounds seem to come off more slowly now. I may end up changing the finish date to my birthday next April so that I can eat a few more calories per day, because with the end of the year goal it has me back down in the 1200-1500 range. That may just not cut it during the holidays. But I'll try it for now. I've said it before, but I'll say it again: I love this weight-loss method! I'm so thankful I stumbled onto Spark People!
