Long Tuesday + Wednesday Plans

Tuesday was very productive - some of you advised me to take it a little easy on Monday, which I definitely did! I got tired after 15 miles of my bike ride, so I walked 1.5 miles home while talking to my dad. I also did only 12 minutes of dumbbells and skipped out on yoga to get more zzz's.

Tuesday was an 'active resting day' - I consciously got up every half hour to get a drink of water, and I walked the 3-mile distance to and from work for six miles of trudging total.

My first locally grown veggie and fruit box came today! so many goodies inside!!! Now to focus on eating that fresh produce instead of nut butter jars - one good race does not make a good excuse to overindulge as always! I made a tasty carrot green, radish, carrot, banana pepper soup and sauteed chicken breast with onion and fresh tomato. Both recipes are YUMMY. They mark a great start after polishing off a jar of nut butter.

Wednesday will be a 15 mile bike ride, 25 minute circuit, and I WILL do yoga. It will help quiet my racing mind. I am happy that my weight is down to 125.2 today. I am reveling in finally being in the 125-lb range again! I've been focusing on staying hydrated - I've had a terrible headache all day. A nap helped, but I'm feeling a bit down/guilty because of my nut butter indulgence.

    don't feel guilty - you are killing it with the workouts! Nut butter isn't bad for you (or so I tell myself as a fellow nut butter junkie) :)
