After Work Walk

Tuesday, August 27, 2013

My husband and I went for our walk, 2 miles, as soon as we got home. On the way back my husband said, "you have been walking at work." I said why you say that? Am I walking too fast for you? He said, "no, but you are strolling. I'm just blowing in the wind." I said you are doing better than I thought you would. Why did I say that? He started walking fast. He knows I can't walk fast. So I started jogging and pass him up. Then I look back and I say maybe I've been jogging too! Then I started taunting him, "Where you at?" Of course I can't keep this up for long so I start walking again. Then he quietly caught up to me. I knew he was coming because he wasn't saying anything. Then he starts jogging ahead of me. So I start jogging too, just trying to stay close because I know he can't keep jogging for long. So when he stops I pass him up. I said I may not have the speed but I do have endurance. By the time we finish, we both have to catch our breath. It was a good work out. emoticon

Awwww, it sounds like it was a workout that though it was probably exhausting by the time you got back, was a lot of fun along the way. That always helps... I hope he keeps going with you. Great job... Keep going Gale, you continually amaze me... jogging now, not even just walking!!!!!! emoticon emoticon
