Gearing up for the Fall

I have had a great summer - filled with travel, family, grandkids, friends, and lots of good times!
I conquered what seems like a lifelong habit of gaining weight while at the beach - and lost weight instead. I have been flying high emotionally.

So the last week has been a quiet slowing down -- as summer begins to fade.

I have not lost any more weight - but I also have not gained any back.


My photos from the summer show me that i still have several pounds left to lose, so there is still lots of work to be done.

I had taken a break from tracking while away for the week - and I now need to get back to it seriously every day. There's no more vacation now.


Also, classes start up in a week - so I am planning for them - always changing things around and finding ways to improve the courses I teach.

The fall is such a great time of year - especially here in New England.
I need to continue all those great habits I developed this summer - and transfer them over to the fall season.

Switching gears now.....

---pick out some new recipes to try

---make a shopping list

---and get going!

I'll be logging in and tracking my food and exercise every day again!
