I was reading a blog from "PennyPearls" this morning and saw that she has a few blogs about SparkCoach. I started wondering who or what is SparkCoach. I went looking through some of my unread emails from SP, to see if I missed something. All this reading was adding up to extra sparkpoints today and down the list on the main Sparkpoints page I found the link to "SparkCoach".
I think I have gone as far as I can today with this new program. Now I am also re-reading some stuff from the program "The Spark". I have moved a few times since I had bought that book a few years ago and no longer have the book so the refresher is nice to have.
Now stuff I am reading about stuff for both programs, they mention about making smart & realistic goals and your reasons behind those goals. Even though I have a goal date for next March (which will be my 50th birthday) SP is telling me to set small goals anywhere from 2-6 weeks also. That's probably a good idea because some days 6.5 months will seem like forever. So I will just keep plugging away at my fitness goals little at a time. A little bit in the morning, a little bit around lunch-time, and a little bit before I fall asleep at night. Sooner or later that little bit will turn into a BIG difference.
My knees are hurting today. They don't even like the stairs in the house...so squats are out today. I really don't want to have to wear the brace again now. But I am still able to do other exercises. I will also be checking in more with the team "Official 10-minute Daily Exercise Streak Challenge SparkTeam". Hey even I can handle 10 minutes at a time (maybe)...3 times a day means 1/2 an hour of exercise. Even I can do 10 minutes while waiting for the washer/dryer, or when coffee is brewing or food is in the microwave. Oh heck even the walk down the long driveway to the mailbox and back could talk me 10 minutes.
On another note: I noticed I am drinking more water & less coffee this last week also, even though I haven't been tracking the water on here. Guess I should because it will give me more points.
