The Body Knows

Well, 4 more work days & I'm least until Sept. 17th. I felt the extreme stress of the last 2 weeks of work stress.. sadness wears on the body making you tired...lacking energy...even with exercise...such was my weekend...there was a lot I could have accomplished but instead vegetated in front of the TV in an attempt to turn the mind off.. DIDN'T WORK! I have heard it all...refocus elsewhere...don't hold on...there's nothing you can do...what will be will be. Hence the lazy Sat. dinner. It consisted of a Wendy's chicken burger, small fries (boy were they SALTY!, not used to that) & a small frosty.

A sluggish Sunday followed, & an end result today was a 1 lb. gain in my WI 126.4 & a bloated belly.

On a happier note we went & had a travel clinic consult & shots & preparation for our January trip...the only shots for me needed was an extra Hep A combo shot which was also a typhoid guard...boy is my arm achy!!! We were also told to beware of stray dogs & monkeys in Thailand...due to threat of rabies....& I have my deet insecticide to guard against Dengue Fever.

I'm lovin this present steam bath we are in weather-wise. I hope it continues into the long weekend.

    Like Jo said, you know exercise is good for you physically and mentally so don't sit around and mope, get up and move.

It will be so nice for you to be off, I hope you enjoy every minute of it.

that environment is not good for you mentally or physically ..

count down the days till the big vacation ...

now you know exercise helps with fatigue and depression --so you get up and move

    Your vacation time is going to be a great way to refocus all of your energy on positivity. I hope you have planned a couple of special things to do just for you. Just 41/2 more months and you will get to see those monkeys up close. See you on the weekend! emoticon
