Made it to my first goal!

I am SO excited! My first goal was to lose 20 pounds this summer, before starting back to work. Today I made that goal, and a week earlier than I had planned. School starts next Tuesday. Today, however, was the kick-off meeting for staff, so it feels really good to have made that goal by the time the first event of the school year happened. I don't think I could have done it without the nutrition and fitness trackers! I have NEVER lost weight while eating so much in the past. Always starved myself on 1000-1100 calories a day. This has felt like magic!
Now, for my next goal: To weigh myself on my new digital scale tomorrow, and then work on getting down to the same weight on THAT scale. Because I'm sure I will "weigh more" on that scale than I do on my old scale. Instead of making myself feel like I'm having to lose the same pounds all over again, though, I'm going to set up my ticker to show how many pounds lost rather than what my actual weight is. I think that will help me psychologically.
P.S. It feels SO great to be able to fit back into my size 10 pants! Great way to start off the new school year!
