On Spark Coach one day, my assignment was to eat by the clock. The very next day, my assignment was to eat only when hungry. The clock works much better for me. I'm more likely to plan my meals and snacks that way too. When I try to eat mindfully, I seem to think I am hungry all the time and I don't seem to recognize when I should stop. Since I'm eating at odd times, supposedly because I am hungry, I don't take the time to log the food and just fall apart at some point in the day.
Maybe mindful eating is in my future but, for now, I'll stick to the clock. Meals and snacks don't have to be at an exact time but I do need to wait three to four hours before eating again. I don't have a medical reason to eat more often so I surely won't be fainting away from hunger if I wait.
