Just completed a 21 day mediation challenge and boy did it help me reduce my stress and reframe how I think. By reducing stress, the urge to gnaw was greatly reduce, the stress hormones were not wreaking havoc within my body. My blood glucose numbers have been coming back down to previous levels. Plus I think it is keeping an ulcer from redeveloping.
So with September just around the corner, it is time for me to get a plan in place. Mediation will definitely be a part of it. Those few minutes make a big difference for me.
