Colin Baker - The Sixth Doctor

Tuesday, August 27, 2013

I went to see Colin Baker speak at Fan Expo on Saturday. He played the Sixth Doctor in Doctor Who. He was charming and funny. I don't know if you can tell how sweet and warm he is in these photos so you'll have to trust me. Great story teller!

I can't figure out how to add the photos to a message board thread about him, so I'm making a quick blog post!

Yay! Thanks for posting this. I'm jealous you got to see him. Of course, I'm still waiting to go to the Dr. Who Experience in Cardiff. One day......

I'm glad they went with a little older guy this time. Maybe they'll go back to their roots. There was already a reference to the Dr.'s granddaughter last season.

    - which of the radio plays he liked best
- what he thinks a baby with a "time head" would look like
- his favourite episode
- which Doctors he think were inspired by his Doctor role
- how he got the part
- something about his costume being so colourful
- whether he'll be on the 50th anniversary special (he didn't say no but it seemed like no)
- what it's like to be on set - he told a story about having to be submerged in water, joked a lot about problems on set with lightning
- someone asked him to read a passage - he rocked it! and here it is with added music:
