Its been a month since my last blog post. I think the first week after I wrote that I did ok....I don't know....things have been such a blur. I've had so much going on. I know for sure that the last couple weeks have been bad. Tracking was not something I did. Ever. I really didn't want to go back to that. At all. I was sick of it. But, I can tell that my clothes are getting snug. I don't want to have all my hard work wasted.
Yesterday I realized that it was time to cut out the crap. I realized this after an un-portioned breakfast. So, I did a small workout with my sand bag. I didn't really pay attention to my calories though. I don't really like starting to count my calories in the middle of the day...at least when I haven't had the healthy mindset in a little while.
Today I had a little over 400 calories for breakfast. I'll try to do the same for lunch and snack/dessert and then have up to 800 calories for dinner. Sounds feasible. I don't really know what exactly I'll be having. I'm thinking soup for lunch. Tomato maybe. That is about 225 for a can- more if I add milk.
I was also intending on taking the kids for a walk today. That would be a good activity.
Oh- school starts pretty soon. I'll be homeschooling my 5 year old. Usually, when I am on a schedule I have an easier time with eating correctly.
Well, off to go try and figure out what is on the menu for today. Its towards the end of the month, so its slim pickins...mainly canned goods. Hopefully I can figure out something healthy. If not, at least I can utilize portion control.
