Terrific Tuesday

Tuesday, August 27, 2013

Slowly getting back on focus...seems like I've hit a dip and it's hard to get back on track and focus.

Co-worker is off this week and I'm buried with work but determined to just do what I can do and we move forward.

Hubby traveling to spend a couple days with our son. Hubby and son looking into starting a business together and are researching and talking with people. They have found a building close to us....but they are still in the investigating stages....so this week he heads there to talk with bankers, people in the business etc. So a couple days to myself in the evenings. Looking forward to that time.

Hubby and I decided to get away for a night over the holiday. Traveling to Marietta Ohio to ride a paddlewheel through the locks and adventure around the town some. About 3 1/2 hour drive. Had thought about driving to BFF's and we are welcome to come but that's 10 hours away and this is shorter and I like to adventure to something new and then we can back and have Monday to putter around the house and maybe take Mom out to dinner or something.

She was really off Sunday and wanted to go home immediately after church without going to breakfast. Something was wrong. Don't know why she got upset. She was still bent out of shape yesterday. It seems like she's really slipped this past year. We get one thing fixed and then it's something else on her. She is just an extra grace required person. So it will be fun to get away just the two of us overnight.

Off to make it a super day!

Good morning sis Kathleen. Sounds like you will be busy this week at work. The weekend away is just what the doctor ordered. Did you get your patio fixed yet? Good luck to hubby on his new business adventure. It may be the answer to many things for you. I enjoyed your line about "She is just an extra grace required person." I've always believed God gives us things like this to see how we handle it. Sounds like you have the right idea. Have a great day ~ emoticon Donna
