Friday I made it to the gym and did a 30 minute walk/run and then another 15 minutes of stretching & yoga.

Saturday & Sunday were non-gym days. I got my exercise out in the garden, shopping, and cleaning house.

Today was a gym day and I skipped it. I had a doctor's appointment after work, then had to go for a blood draw and pick up a prescription (not related to the Dr. appt.). By the time I was done with that it was 5:30 p.m. and I was famished. I headed home and then noticed that my car was overheating. I pulled over and let it cool down until the gauge was out of the red, then drove the 1/2 mile home . Once the engine cools down a bit I'll go see what the problem is. Hopefully it's just the coolant being low - and I have some in the garage. I really can'[t afford a major car repair right now.

Tomorrow I'm not going to the gym either. I have an appointment to get my eyes examined right after work . I haven't had an eye exam in 2 years and I know my vision has deteriorated.

Wednesday I will be in the gym for sure! Yesterday I signed up, and paid, to run a 5K on September 14th. That gives me 3 weeks to get ready.

    Ah, life happens. Sometimes it's difficult to get to the gym but it's important not to let it slip for too long or it gets so hard to go back.
It sounds like you have a big goal coming up to keep you on track. Running 5km is awesome! Good for you!!!
