Joined a team challenage (been awhile since I did that)

Yes I made my self join a team challenge and I am going to look for a few more. They help and I know it.
So here goes for the Team Indygirl challange Holiday Blitz and Glitz my goals are :
By Jan 1st I wanna be in the 230's

so here goes for the monthly goals

September: making sure I am eating all three meals and 2 health snacks ( I am a new Diabetic)
Keep my water in take up
walking of some kind every day for 30 minutes
keeping my sugar levels from spiking up or down

So I think that is a good starting place. I will be sitting down tonight and finding other challenges I want to try.
On a plus note hubby worked out this AM and that is great however my sugar was high and I slept through it in the chair.. but I will make up for it on the gazelle tonight.
I have M four days this week , and Gabe has an appoint today at 315.
I might post another blog later today have a great day.

    Challenges are a great way to add motivation and accountability. I'm doing a couple challenges myself, just for those reasons.

    Setting goals is also another great way to keep yourself on track. Be sure to set short-term goals as-well-as long-term goals, and to reward yourself once you reach a goal. Rewards don't have to be big and expensive. You can give yourself a spark goodie, set aside some private time to read a special book, download a new song, and so on. I used to use this technique, and now that you have me thinking about it, I think I'll start doing it again.

    That is good. They have a 8 week diabetic challenge on here.
    Plus, the Taming Your Sweet Tooth is a good one.
    I belong to that one and I am learning to love my veggies.
    Plus, I am drinking more water and exercising.
    (I have chocolate on occasions).

    Sounds like a good idea. I need to do the same thing. Come up with a new long term one, and ones for each month. Given September starts this weekend, good time to start!!
