I keep gaining weight, I keep not exercising, I keep eating too much, I keep eating everything I shouldn't, I keep not starting a new healthy diet, I keep being out of control. I have to stop.

Take it one moment at a time. You CAN do this! Don't get discouraged by setbacks, just get back up and start again. Eventually it will stick. emoticon

It is one second, one minute, one hour, one day at a time. It is a journey you are undertaking to become the healthiest you can be. It is being positive, making a good choice as to what you're fueling your body with because we only get one body in this lifetime. It is loving ourselves and knowing that we are absolutely, positively, definitely worth it. It is telling that negative chorus that lives in our head to pipe down and be quiet so we can get on with all we need to do. It is choosing NOT TO LISTEN to other people being negative about our weight because all that does is make us feel bad about ourselves and that just spirals us downward.

It is baby steps - one foot in front of the other, that will get you where you want to go.

You know who is control of you? You - that's right. Really, the only one you can control is yourself. Make the best possible food choices to fuel yourself through your day that you can. Speak to yourself the way you speak to someone you love.

SparkPeople gave you a calorie range. Eat within it. Trust the program. I know it's hard, but trust it. Drink your 64 ounces of water a day. Move your body. Use a digital kitchen scale and measuring spoons to portion out all your food. Track all the food and drinks you consume in the Nutrition Tracker. Run the daily report so you can see how you did for the day and also to figure out how you can do better for the next day.

You will get there! I wish you much success on your journey to becoming the healthiest you can be.
