Kissing 50'

Monday, August 26, 2013

Why did I wait until I was 47 yrs old to get a grip on my weight? Iam now 49 and never felt better. Why didn't I do this when I was 37 or 30! I went to a retirement party for a friend of a friend Saturday evening. They had what I considered to be the usual "Ass Fat" foods. I only had 6 meat balls, 2 cups of fruit and some water. I looked at what was offered and couldn't do it. No fried chicken, no mac and cheese, no spaghetti, no greens, no ham hocks and no beer for me. Oh, I did eat a serving of potato salad. The very next day(Sunday) my sister called and said she cooked Sunday dinner. Hell, I knew what that meant as well. I couldn't do that either. I baked my chicken legs and a whole potato in my crock pot. I cant believe sometimes the way I use to eat and not even think about doing any exercise to take it back off. So here I sit Kissin' 50 and Feelin'30. emoticon

Great job, I'm right there with you but got some work to do to get closer to feeling good. Hoping to be better at 50 and onward than I was previous years
