Just a quick post....I arrived back in the States this morning and spent the day driving from LA to Berkeley. I have been up for a LONG time since I only slept for a couple of hours on the plane this time. It is impossible for me to record my food for the past day and a half because the time change messes everything up. Leaving Australia, flying for 14 hours and arriving in the States BEFORE you actually leave Australia is one of the weird things that happen when you travel around the globe. Qantas, ever the good hostess, plied me with all sorts of goodies to help me pass the time and I accepted just about everything that was offered. So, over the past 36 hours I:
Didn't drink near enough water.
Ate a lot of calories.
Sat on my backside continually.
I was going to try to remember everything that I ate but it is just too hard and doesn't really fit into the chart so I decided just to start fresh on Monday morning. My weight will probably be out of kilter too so I will try not to freak out when I step on the scale tomorrow morning....at least until I give myself a day or two to regain my equilibrium. Then, we will see if any radical action needs to be taken to correct any damage done by the past week. I think it will be okay. According to the scale in Oz, I have maintained my weight over the past three weeks. I don't think that I will have sabotaged that by the past two days.
Time for bed!
