Minor victory

Sunday, August 25, 2013

Today I learned 2 important lessons:

1) if I dont get out and do my exercise in the morning, it wont happen. I need to just do it. Later...its a mess. I did manage to get some steps in on a curb while child was playing on the driveway, but not anywhere near the 8miles that was on the schedule.

2) I can be happy with an unsweetened iced tea from the drive thru. DH and Child have a thing for Wendy's Frostys when we go down to his mother's for Sunday dinner. Normally I partake too, but I had already forsaken the LSRun planned so the calorie expense was not going to be "in budget." But I was thirsty, so I got the Iced Tea and was very satisfied. "I have somethign to sip on at the same time as them" so there was not a deprivation.

I have made an important decision. More blogginess tomorrow!

These are good lessons. I'm like you, if I don't get things done in the morning they're way less likely to happen. I seem to lose steam as the day progresses. Nice job on avoiding the frostie - that takes will power!

Great victory! I threw away half of a candy bar last week. I felt quite virtuous.
