So this has been kind of a weird week for me. I've definitely been great about my food, and it's made a huge difference on the scale. That said, I've also been sick, so I haven't really gotten much exercise done. I hit my 100 minutes, but this may the first month since I started this that I don't hit 1000 minutes of exercise. Between injuries and illness, I feel like it hasn't been my best month for fitness.

On the upside, I'm definitely losing again. I'm now at my lowest weight yet, and I've hit and passed 40 pounds lost. I now weigh less than I did when I moved from PA to TN about a year ago, so that's progress. At least now when I head back up there to see everyone in a few weeks, I won't have ballooned up even larger than I was when they last saw me.

My goals for this coming week are to be as diligent about my food and food tracking as I have been for the past week. Pre-planning meals is really helpful, and given how busy this week will be for me at work, it's also kind of necessary. I also want to get back to the gym this week and to keep working towards my morning workout time goal!

I guess if I had to be sick, it's good I at least got a chance to just really focus on my food for a week. Now, let's see if I can add the rest of my routine back in and keep it all up!

Happy next week, everyone!

emoticon Sorry to hear that you haven't been feeling well.

I like that you have a weekly plan! What a great idea. Something all of us should think about doing.

I lost my first 26 pounds doing no exercise whatsoever. In fact, when I started doing a tiny routine my weight started climbing from the added muscle, since I was losing the fat so slowly! I don't think our bodies like us to work hard when we're sick, so you did the right thing by backing off. Now you'll be even more ready to put in your best effort!

Being sick bites girl. Congratulations on keeping your food on track, and it is great that your scales are moving. Keep it up, next month will be even better!

Sorry to hear about you being sick, but emoticon on that food tracking and the progress you have made with your weight loss. Just think, you have another month at least to keep going before your airplane ordeal and I can't wait to hear about how excited you were when you discovered all went well emoticon
