We had a goal to work our way back up to 20ks we did regularly 3 years ago. I do not want to say remember when we used to do 20k's one more time! So the goal today was to work up to at least 15-18. We surpassed the 20k which was are furthermost ever. Today we did 21.2k or 13.1 miles. We also strength trained throughout the walk and at strength trained at the exercise park. I carried 4 pound hand weights. I did bicep curls, hammer curls, chest flys, overhead triceps press, side pendulums, shrugs, and punching with the weights while walking. I love egging my husband on I dared him to lunges while our kids took a break to play across the whole park he did it 160 total he conquered!
I feel so good! So thankful for God's grace on the children today and great weather! We brought lot's of snacks and water for them.Now all my praying friends out there pray I can walk tomorrow! No really! Have a great new week! Let's push ourselves just a little more this week.
