This is the final day of our 2 week challenge for females 55#. We were supposed to write a blog everyday this week. Writing blogs has been a challenge for me. I have to write and rewrite what I write several times. As a result I have not done this part of our challenge this week until now.
When I first started Sparkpeople my goal was basic, find a program to track my food and exercise.
I find that Sparkpeople has been very instrumental with my desire to be healthy, control my weight as well as my blood sugar. I have been intensely trying to do this for the last 3 months that I have been a member of this group. I have learned about food tracking and evaluating what I eat. This has been an ongoing learning event. The information out there is interesting and informative. Old ideas about nutrient have changed. Exercise tracking and the types of exercise have been available. New information is there for the grasping.
What I didn't realize or expect was the amazing amount of support I would receive. The Encouragement and various suggestion, people expressing their happiness when they achieved their goals or their sadness when they had a backstep. People genuine in their best wishes for you. There's a lot of positive people out there, people that don't criticise your fears or your missteps (no failures here because there is no giving up). This Blog is a effort to thankyou for all that support.
