As one who has ministered to many people who were making their way home to God, the article spoke to my experience. Presence is the most valuable gift we can give the person who are living their final days among us before they are embraced by a loving and warm God.

" The greatest thing you'll ever learn, is just to love, and be loved in return "
This is on my father's tombstone. It's a line from an old Nat King Cole song, and it meant a lot to my Dad.

As a Christian I say, I look forward to death. I have no worries about it.
It also tells me that I need to live each "today" to its fullest.

As the Beatles so aptly sing, "All you need is love!!"

Love you too, Dawn! Thanks for sharing this great blog.
