Seasonal Kitten Disorder

Sunday, August 25, 2013

I'm suffering from seasonal Kitten Disorder.

This occurs in the Spring and Fall when the cats and kittens go crazy and change their routines and and pecking orders. During this time i am regularly trampled at night and followed around all the time being talked yelled at for attention and play time.

This seems to happen more when there is more than 2 cats in the house. Anyone else notice this phenomena?

Interesting -- I will keep an eye on the new kitty and the 17 year old cat

Allergic to cats so don't have to deal with it.

We only have two cats at any time, and there's usually 8-10 years between them. Good luck and I'll be curious to know how you fare!!

Yes, I only have ONE very fat lazy cat but she gets weird when the seasons start to change - between yelling at me, snuggling up in my lap and ignoring me, she becomes very unpredictable.

Yes, my normally cuddly loving cat now gives me the cold shoulder and the stand-offish one wants to cuddle. There is no logic in this place.

In my house it's more random than seasonal, but I totally know what you're talking about.

    That's funny. I have two cats - but I can't say I have noticed a change.
