Yikes it has been a busy, busy summer at home! I attended 3 weddings in 4 weeks, and got some compliments on how I look :D
I also got to buy new clothes in my annual wardrobe re-stock (I live in Asia where it's very hard to get plus sizes), and I was happy to be buying mostly size 18-20. Last summer I was buying 22-24. I even bought two pairs of pants that were size 16! They were a tight fit, but I bought them knowing that I will keep going this semester!
I also stocked up on sports bras and healthy treats.
My family noticed a difference in my eating habits too, and I did try to get my fruits and veggies in for each meal.
I had a hard time exercising, but I got a lot of walks in, and spent a lot of time chasing toddlers around. One victory moment came when my sis commented as I was playing "chase auntie" with my 2 yr old nephew, "most of us just pretend to chase him, but you're actually running" definitely got 30 mins of cardio that day!

But I do know that I have gained some weight since I've been gone. I'm looking forward to getting back to my routine and pushing myself to workout hard again (well sort of).
My inner dialogue was kind of conflicted...part of me just wanted a break, and to be lazy and indulgent, part of me was reminding myself not to undo all my hard work over the past few months, and different parts would win on different days.

I'm thinking of doing some kind of cleanse/fast for the first week of September, just to give me a good start, but I'll have to research and see what works. I'm fairly skeptical about them at the moment. :P

Glad you had a nice time away! Good for you keeping active and eating good when you could!
Check out the team One For all I am on. Although I have not done the diet most are doing, I joined to add support to the team and try to stay focused on my eating. It centers around The 5/2 diet, fast diet, where you fast on 500 cal. 2 times a week. I saw it on a popular TV show too and the friends on the team says it works. But, not everyone could do that-including me.
emoticon on smaller sizes!! emoticon emoticon
