Day 146 - 25 Pounds Down!

Yesterday after walking 6 miles, I stepped on the scale and I was exactly 25 pounds down from when I started! So excited!!!
It is such a great feeling to hit this milestone and to collect a trophy! LOL
Today, I worked a full 10 hours running around town with various clients. Duncan Donuts, athletic center, Walmart, Walgreens twice, library, high school twice, Subway, and even stopped by my home several times. On our last outing, the super huge garage door wire snapped and the door tilted awkward. Luckily we were not in the garage, so we had one of the two vans still available, whew! But the clients teased me that I broke the garage door, LOL.
After work, my husband and I headed out to Bliss Woods forest preserve and walked the paved and gravel road. We walked almost to Waubonsee Community College, then turned back. We didn't want to get stuck inside since the gates close at dusk. We were pushing it! I would say we walked 3 miles.
Since it was just us and no kids, we headed off to Chili's for the chicken fajitas for two, the artichoke dip with chips, and the bottomless chips and salsa. We drank only water. So, I am sure my calorie intake is extremely high! There goes my 25 pounds lost! All that salty intake will definitely set me back in water weight! But that is okay...I will be right were I am soon enough!
This last week with my new jogging skills, I was losing at least a half a pound every other day! So, I am not worried...tomorrow, I plan on hitting the pavement before heading off to work at 2 pm in another group home for men. I will be the only staff present. (last time I was there, one client threw up on his plate. I don't do well with vomit and asked another client to carry his plate to the sink and rinse it. I bribed him... He grabbed the plate and tilted it. He got the client full of vomit all over his head, ugh! Nightmares!!! LOL)
Well, I am full and tired...good night my Spark friends!
