What's one thing I'm really good at???

Saturday, August 24, 2013

So I use SparkCoach and I gotta say, I do love it..for anyone who wanted to know. It is definitely worth it.

Well the question today for my blog is what is one thing I'm really good at...Well I'm a mom, that's what I do, sure I've worked over the years, sure I'm a wife, sure I'm a kid, sure I'm a great listener, sure I am a straight A student, and sure I do a lot of other things, but my one thing I am REALLY good at is being a mom. Some people make little comments that "wow, you have 5 kids" yes, yes I do have 5 kids, and I love each and every one of them in amazing and wonderful and DIFFERENT ways. They're all unique little people, even the 18 year old who is now an adult or the 14 year old who is now taller than me are little people to me. They're my little people! And I'm their mom, that's my job, and the only one that really matters to me at this point in my life. I know when I finish my masters degree I'll have other jobs I find rewarding by helping people but this job, this is THE job. I wouldn't trade it for ANYTHING!

I never planned to have 5, my first husband didn't want kids...we managed to have two though before I realized this. My 2nd (current) husband wanted them desperately, we had a son and he wanted just one more...we have twins that are 7...lol...SURPRISE!

2 is the magic number for me!!!! My friend has 4....2 of which are in diapers and only 11 months apart! I am not sure how she does......guess she's a super mom as you must be with 5 :)
