I am Officially Old!

Saturday, August 24, 2013

I used to love going to the movies, but I haven't done that in a long time.
So today I took my boys to watch Despicable me 2, they've wanted to go for a long time but I've been too busy (you know how it is.)

Guess what - I slept through most of the movie.

If that is not being old, I don't know what it is.

Oh Lucky Lucy - a nice nap in someplace cool, dark and comfy (like a theater)? That isn't a sign of age - that is just taking advantage of a good situation. emoticon Old is when you start asking your 15 year old grandchild to hand you the remote (so you don't have to get up off the couch) and while you're at it, would you mind getting me a glass of water?. emoticon % )

Or you could be extremely young at heart. I always used to fall asleep in the cinema when I was little!

I took my daughter to see that. I often fall asleep when I'm at the movies, and that can be any movie whether I am enjoying it or not. I may have had a quick snooze at that one too. We saw the normal one, I wanted to see the 3D because I love 3D movies. But my daughter doesn't like them as much as I do. For me the novelty is there whereas with her, it is normal to be able to see 3D.

Oh, you aren't old you just have two active boys and are taking care of a househole; so, you are either tired (probably this reason since you are so busy that it has been difficult to find time for a movie) or bored or both! I had to laugh because I too thought you had a birthday!

Oh, I am quite a bit older than you but feel much younger than I did with two girls even though they were 9 years apart. When my grandboy and grandgirl come I get really tired and have to calm myself when they leave!

Nope, you are not old, you are tired.
You have a hectic work schedule, and you work out a lot. You took your kids to the movies and caught up on some sleep.
I call that wise multi tasking!
