My first week of school has ended and I must say I am weary. I have been at school until 6pm most every day. I get to work at 6:45 am and get my room ready. After school I am making copies, preparing for each class and then go home. By this time I am exhausted. But with the help of my daughter I am exercising most afternoons.
To my delight, I lost weight this week. I am assuming since I am on my feet most of the day, I am keeping active. Even though I am exercising, I am not at my ultimate activity level due to my tiredness. But even low intensity is better than nothing at all.
So I celebrate my weight loss. I AM happy about it, I just need to come up with better ways to get everything accomplished. Work cannot be all-consuming. I do need time for me and my family.
If anyone has some ideas for me I would welcome them. I also realize this is only the first week of school. Once I get into the groove of things, I will be able to rest and not do so much extra. But until that time, I must find the balance. Otherwise I am looking for a breakdown of some sort. AND I DO NOT NEED THAT!
