First Official Insanity Workout and Starting Measurements

Today was my very first Insantiy workout: Plyometric Cardio Circuit. And guess what - it wasn't as bad as I thought it was going to be! Don't get me wrong - I had to take extra breaks and had to modify the moves and even felt like throwing up a bit in the beginning. LOL. But based on comments and reviews that I read, they all said that it's not for overweight people and overweight people wouldn't be able to do it and I psyched myself out about it a bit, not knowing what to expect. BUT - I was able to do modifed versions and kept up as best as I could and it felt great! I have a LOT of work to do, but I can't wait to see the progress!

I took my first fit test yesterday, and the results are:

1) Switch Kicks: 135 (shin level)
2) Power Jacks: 30
3) Power Knees: 82
4) Power Jumps: 36 (low impact)
5) Glove Jumps: 7 1/2 (stepping, not jumping)
6) Suicide Jumps: 14 (stepping, not jumping)
7) Push-Up Jacks: 15 (4 full and 11 on knees)
8) Low Plank Oblique: 32

and my measurements are:
Chin: 15 (using the fat thingy)
Arm: 16 1/4 (top freckle on my arm)
Chest: 46
Tummy: 50
Hips: 47.5
Thigh: 30
Calf: 18

Starting Weight: 208.8



Next Fit test and measurement taking will be in two weeks! Can't wait to see what happens!

    Awesome! I attempted Insanity but it was just simply too much for me being overweight and having bad knees.

But I am impressed! Keep going! Keep us updated!

    Good for you! You just wait, in two weeks you'll have made a ton of progress. Just stay injury free and modify as needed. Way to go!
