Day 145 - My Body is Protesting!

Ever since I discovered I can jog with the use of my inhaler last month, I have been jogging just about every day. emoticon I have pushed myself too, just to see how far or how long I can go. I discovered that I can jog 40 minutes non-stop, which is 2 miles. Yesterday, I pushed myself again on the treadmill and increased my speed from 3.0 to 3.2 for a full mile. I succeeded! emoticon

Usually my legs tire out before my lungs do. In the beginning, my legs were screaming in protest to my new discovery of jogging. Ever since, my legs have been in some form of mild pain to severe pain of protest. emoticon

Today, my legs just felt like there is no energy in them. I guess they are protesting against me. They don't hurt much, just a dull ache. I have also increased my carbs (craving pastas and breads lately...) emoticon

I really tried jogging, but my form was just bad. I decided to walk. I did walk 5 miles, so I am very pleased with that! emoticon I guess I do need to give my legs a break every now and then emoticon

Maybe tomorrow after work I can get back to jogging a mile or two. Otherwise, it will have to wait until Sunday morning. emoticon

    Keep up the good work!

    It sounds like you need to give your body a little break to allow your muscles to recoup. Maybe take a day off and spend some time stretching or doing a yoga?
