Well I am not very good at keeping in touch lately. My apologies. It has been rather stressful around here lately. My father in law continues to battle pancreatic cancer. He has outlived their initial prognosis and for that we praise the Lord!! The chemo is difficult for him and difficult for my husband to watch his dad be so ill.
Our son is home for a two week leave before deploying to Afghanistan for his second tour. this in itself is stressful, but he and his wife are having marital issues and she is living with us so we are in the middle of it. Ugh it is hard to watch your kids go through stuff!! Certainly doesn't make it any easier knowing I may not see him for over a year and instead of enjoying his visit it is gloomy and lots of tension in the house.

So with all these stressors I am battling nightly wanting to stress eat!! So far I have kept it to a minimum and mostly we go walk at all hours to give the kids some space to work things out...but once he goes back and things go back to "normal" I am going to have to come up with will power and a better plan!!

So I would covet your prayers for our family at this time. Having your kids scattered all over the world is easier to bear if you know they are happy emoticon

Thank you for listening to my woes spark friends!!
