Week 2-3 update

Week 2 and 3 was good.
Workload was manageable: I expected that the delays in project #1 will make the peak workload projects #1 and #2 hit at the same time, but there were more delays in project #1 the peak is postponed to a more peaceful week.
Lesson learned: worrying about future is pointless, because it may turn out quite differently ; )
Eating and exercise went well.
After reading the book "Awakening Joy" my inner sense of happiness and peace improved a lot. And it was already pretty good to start with.
I also read the Buddha's speeches available in Hungarian. I read them 20 years ago and I remember at that time I understood every word but it didn't make any sense to me. This time it was different. Now I understand the idea, of course not fully.
Now I'm reading "Buddha's Brain" which was mentioned in "Awakening Joy", and it is great too. Less practice-oriented, more scientific background.
I was never responsive to any spiritual teachings or ideas, but somehow the mindfulness I learned from The Spark opened up this part of my mind.
