ugh i am tired

Thursday, August 22, 2013

Well i brought up doing this diet plan to my bf and i said dont worry i will do all the cooking. What was i thinking? everyday i make him lunch and snack and dinner for everyone. then i have to think about what i am eating for breakfast lunch and dinner. my kid is doing the plan too but she is now a vegetarian. so now if i make dinner that has meat in it i have to also make something for her. so i try to make mostly vegetarian dinners and put meat in his lunch and snack.

I have to keep meat in there or he will complain. I would be fine without it. I feel like all i am doing is cooking and preping. i don't have time or energy to do my workouts. I am trying my hardest to walk during the daytime. the kids are at school i am tired and want to sleep but instead i force myself out in the heat and humid air and walk till i cant stand it any more.

May God be with me and keep me strong so i can help those that need it more then i but also help myself.

It is okay to ask others for help.

There is nothing wrong with asking others for help.

You are not a short order cook or restaurant chef, so you can't be expected to make every meal fit every demand especially when you're doing it alone.

Ask your family for help. Have your daughter help you with dinner - she will someday be cooking for herself, so she can learn while helping you. Have your husband make his own lunches - because then he can't complain about what's in it. Sit down with your family once a week and plan the meals for the week so you know ahead of time what you'll be making and can make sure you have all the ingredients ready. You can also assign preparation duties at that time.

You can't be expected to do it all, so don't give them permission to demand the impossible from you then complain. If everyone chips in then it will be far easier. For instance, have your daughter helping out with preparing the veggies while your husband cooks whatever type of meat he wants to eat while you put together the main dish for you and your daughter and any side dishes. Think of how much time and energy you can save.
