Whew! Had a hungry day!

Thursday, August 22, 2013

I slept in this am. I was up way too late last night, so I stayed in bed until 5:10 am, then got dressed, fed the furkids and was at work by 6. I did my thing there this am, sitting with the heat on all day. Rich came in for coffee.

I had my cheese sticks and crackers for breakfast, Philadelphia Sweet endulgence Dark chocolate with pretzel chips for a morning snack. For lunch it was a single serving of Tostitos Nacho Cheese sauce with Homemade baked chips made with 3 Mission Super Thin Tortillas. Then there was my afternoon snack of 1/2 serving of Planter's NUT-rition heart healthy nut mix, a mini box (1/2oz) of raisins and 7 plain M&Ms.

I had to do something! Off to the gym, I went. Elliptical time! That didn't help. Still hungry....

I was so happy when dh said that he bought me a big steak for dinner! It was a nice top sirloin. You would think that would satisfy me, wouldn't you? Nahhhhhhhh. Didn't happen. I just had a batch of air-popped popcorn made from 1/4c of kernels. Now it is almost 6pm, so I won't eat anymore.

But I am already planning for tomorrow......

Gosh sounds so like me. I eat a big meal and should be satisfied and yet I am thinking of my next meal. seems like I am always thinking about food and what I can and can not eat. It would be so nice just to be satisfied and not be thinking about food all the time.
    Best of everything to you.
    Have a great day.

I had one of those days yesterday - I kept eating cucumbers! I should have done some popcorn - that might have satisfied the munchies better.

    That's hunger! :-)
How many hours did you sleep in total?
I have the experience that when I sleep less then my normal amount (7h30-8h30), then I tend to eat more on that day. Strangely, when I go to sleep for an hour during the day, the hunger goes away.

Woohoo! Sounds yummy. Sometimes ya just gotta fill that empty spot!

After my salad yesterday, I was starved by the time we got home . . . DH brought a London Broil. Oh, yummmy! Along with some grilled veggies and mushrooms . . . it lasted until about midnight . . I was ravenous. . . . so I finished up the rest of my days calories with PBJ!!!

I'm still catching up . . . but I sure enjoyed meeting you and lunch yesterday. It is absolutely amazing how closely our lives and escapades have paralleled each other!

    You are such an inspiration!
