At a stand still!

Thursday, August 22, 2013

I've been at a stand still since April! Ugh! I can't seem to get back into exercising and eating in moderation. I haven't gained weight, but I'm not taking any weight off! I am so discouraged! I try to encourage myself and I've been trying to talk myself back into exercising. So far this has not worked. I'm not sure what is going on. I still walk, but that is just not enough to make a difference. I have strong faith and right now that is not getting me through this! What to do - what to do! Oh and giving up is not in my list of options!

This sounds so familiar. We got to get up and keep on moving. I recently had this conversation with my trainer to see if I could part this plateau hurdle. We can do this! It's not easy but we are no stranger to hard work. I encourage you to dust yourself off and stick with your plan. I'm on the same journey and only looking at the light in the tunnel.

You've received some great advice and I'm a little late responding but I found when I've gotten to a point like this I just have to DO IT! That's why I've started my new leg of this journey as a No Excuses journey. I've even posted a sign that says No Excuses around my house, on my fridge also and bedroom mirror. Even when I don't feel like it I just make an effort to get dress and say I'll do 15 minutes or 30 minutes and before you know it you're full into it. The after effect is even greater! the 10 minutes of strength training I'm sure will make you want to do more. Go on try it....

It's hard when you reach this point but you just have to keep on going and welll done for maintaining and not gaining. How about finding a class or a DVD you can exercise to, perhaps once a week to start with. emoticon emoticon emoticon Just keep sparking.

Sometime these things happen, but, if you hang in there the changes will come. Maybe you should try the strength training as suggested by NEW-CAZ and don't worry about the scale. You could be losing inches and wouldn't that be O K? emoticon

This is what lead me to do The Daniel Fast for 21 days. I took all my concerns to The One in prayer making my request known. He changed my diet drastically and I have benefited from the change. I'm just resuming my work out but my best change resulted from nutrition. I'm still Allowing Him to speak and transform as He see fit.

You can and will do this... expect the unexpected

i think a good idea is to read other people blogs. Just relax and read what some others are saying sometimes can motivate you to take a small step. emoticon
