So, How'd It Go?

Last night I went to the Sports Conditioning class at the gym. The instructor set up a long row of steps on one side of the room; we were to straddle up and down the row of steps with very quick steps of our own. I was so worried that I would be too slow, but I did OK. Some of the jocks were so fast, but they were blowing everyone away -- not just me.

That's just one example of the exercises we did. The class reminded me a lot of that Meetup workout group I met up with a couple of weeks ago at the local high school. Like the Meetup, Sports Conditioning took fitness further than I'm willing to go.

I was a sweaty mess and I walked sooo slowly home afterwards. I'm proud of myself for taking the class that intimidated me so much, and glad to further figure out what I'm looking for in health and fitness.

    GO YOU! Love that you are taking a class and working hard. Pushing our limits, especially in an area of life we may feel a wee bit intimated by, takes such bravery!

I have yet to be comfortable to exercise in public (with the exception of walking).
