Full Moon

Thursday, August 22, 2013

An often-noted observation, I know, across many different work situations.

But: when the moon is full, there often seem to be a (temporary) diminution both in the reasonableness of my own clients AND those on the "opposite side".

Hmmmmm. Yesterday was tough, today looks like more of the same.

Glad I've been to the gym four days in a row before work.

And yup, that R2R soup is doing it's job!! Delicious and quite sufficient "staying power".

Way to fuel up and fire up your metabolism to take on the craziness at work! I was lucky to be away from the club and on my trip at that time. Nothing strange happened on the trip fortunately :)

Taught in a prison for 17 years, and DEFINITELY noticed the "full moon effect" on prisoners! Kept things interesting, for sure!

I have long observed the correlation between the full moon (gorgeous as it is) and the craziness that ensues. Good for you for fueling up, and strengthening up, before facing the challenges and your challengers.

It's surprising, isn't it. But when I used to work, get this, even something as "simple" as directory assistance for the phone company, we observed the full moon effect!

Maybe you can get a contuance based on lunacy?

Hahahaha, wouldn't that be great?

The word lunatic comes from the Latin luna, and literally means "controlled by the moon." One of the goodies I retained from high school Latin classes!

Good for you working out 4 days in a row! That surely will counteract the effects of the full moon. I am going back into the insanity or work today, but will join you in an am workout! Good luck with your job.

That soup did sound yummy, I'm glad it works for you. Between the soup and the gym you should be able to hold down the fort during the lunacy.
