Measuring up !

Thursday, August 22, 2013

Well I've not really been keeping up with the measuring of myself because I've not really had much weight loss in 4 months only about 12 pounds so I didn't think I really lost much in the inches either. So I just put it off for all that time , however I have been doing water arobics at least 3 to 4 times a week for around 30 to 40 minutes. I do enjoy exercising in the pool , no sweat , , no getting out of breath , and only myself to keep up with . I use water weights as well to make it a bit more challenging.
So today I pulled out the tape measure . Oh boy what a nice suprise I've lost 10.5 in. but like I said only 12 lbs. In around 4 months .Well it was nice , 2 and a half inches on the upper arm and 2 on all the other , leg , hips , waist , chest . emoticon so the water arobic is really paying off , and this inspires me , cause I wasnt seeing that darn scale move to much lately and was feeling dont forget dear Spark buddies l if you've been working hard and eating right , dont go by that darn scale. Just go measure up and you'll probably be pleasantly suprised too. Have a great day folks, keep sparking

Losing 12 lbs and losing inches is awesome. You might try increasing the intensity of your water aerobic workouts, to see if that helps you shed a little more weight. Perhaps you could try adding resistance gloves or using aqua bands for some of your moves, or just "working it" a little more...

that crazy old scale has an opinion of its own that it can keep to itself. we see non-scale victories in how our clothes fit, how we feel when we move, how much easier it is to do things, , our increased energy.....our inches lost!!!!! congratulations on seeing the reward of your hard work confirmed on tape!!! Keep up the good work- it is working for you
