Need For Speed

I have been doing so horribly this past week that I have gained 3-5lbs already and becomming very discouraged. I am beginning to doubt whether or not I can really lose the weight and get to my goal weight. I still have hope that I can but am feeling really depleated. I decided to try and make a weekly plan of what to eat and lower my calories again since that was working before. I haven't been able to go for a jog all week because of my schedule at work and what not but I hope that I can jog again next week. Hope you are all doing well!

    You can do this! There are always going to be "bumps" and obstacles in life. Make next week a whole emoticon new beginning.

    We all lose AND gain from time to time! We all get discouraged from time to time. I think it is just part of the process. If it wasn't discouraging everyone would do it and stay with it.
You are doing so well with all the pounds you already lost, so don't give up. You can do it!

    You will do fine - give yourself a break. I had a teacher who had a weight problem also - and she always made me laugh because she said we were built for comfort not for speed. I often think of that when comparing myself to others. This isn't a race. I tell myself "direction, not distance". So we're going in the right direction - whether it takes us a bit longer doesn't matter.

But I sure get discouraged too. I want the weight to fall off, yesterday :o).
