Had to read my book today for a.m, got it finished... went to book club.... Three Day Road - Joseph Boyden... a Cree man gives a different perspective to the Aboriginal effort in WW1. very compelling story, insider information that was new to many of us. But, it was also intertwined with his auntie's story from her perspective and when he came home with an amputated leg and addicted to morphine, she lures him back to life with her stories... Very interesting... and the direction our discussions go - as always - spirited and informative.

Only got in 2 laps tonite, only takes a day or two off to see how fast you lose your strength and momentum. Temperature dips are really pointing out that summer is coming to an end...

Breakfast - roast beef sandwich with sauerkraut, prunes
Lunch - Rockin' Moroccan Stew
Snack - gingersnaps
Supper - steamed wax beans, cabbage roll casserole, cherries
Snack - banana

    I've been struggling to get back into my routine that I had when I first came back to Michigan. I used to have my exercises done, my walk in and some housework done by 10 am. Now it's more like noon. If you get suggestions on how to get and stay in a routine, please share it with me. Hope you have a good day today.

    That book sounds great--glad you're enjoying it! We're back to heat and humidity here in the northeast but it will break by the weekend. Whew!

    It is so easy to break routines, and sometimes once routines are broken it is real hard to get back on track again. At least that is what I have found over the years , when it comes to exercising.

would be a good time to change routine times to be ready for when winter steps in....that s what I have been thinking today when I noticed condensation on my windows this morning. Day s are shorted and nights are cooler already...
