An early goodnight . . .

Wednesday, August 21, 2013

An early goodnight because I don't get on sparks very much at night.

My brother-in-law came over with his grandson again today and his grandson did some good work outside for my hubby, which is much appreciated. He is 15 and likes to help and likes to get some extra money so it's another of those win-win situations.

I did a lot today, beginning early this morning by watering all the outside plants, flowers, etc., then got chores done inside the house. I made a favourite dish of my husband's for our supper tonight . . . cut up hot Italian sausages cooked with onions, cut up potatoes and some tomatoes . . . a one pot meal that sure does hit the spot!

My daughter's chest is swollen and she's getting a lot of pain today but she doesn't let on. Being "Mom", I can read between the lines. I'll pop over to her house in the morning and see what I can do for her to help her. Difficult for her to do her hair, wash, etc., since both both of her arms are hurtful with what's going on with her body.

So another day has passed and it was a hazy, hot, humid one here. I'm thankful for a good working air conditioner! Now it is time to relax and have a restful evening and think about tomorrow. Hmmm, what else can I get into tomorrow?

Goodnight everyone, sweet dreams!

You should be pleased at all that was accomplished yesterday. We pray Sue will be able to "bear the pain". That must be very uncomfortable. I had a similar dish for breakfast, but no tomatoes. I hate to leave them out, but acid in my tummy is a problem. emoticon emoticon emoticon emoticon
