When Eyes Deceive

Wednesday, August 21, 2013

I got a right telling off today - my husband really had a go at me. Why?

I compared myself to a voluptuous lady on tv who was clearly 2 or 3 sizes bigger than me and he said I should get some glasses.

At first I saw myself but then when he pointed out her shoulders and arms in relation to her head and I saw myself I realized I wasn't looking properly.

Do I need glasses? (Already have a pair I hardly use XD LOL)

It is hard. My weight has gone up and down so much in the last few years I really have no idea what size I actually am!
At least hubby was nice enough to point out that you look more amazing than you think now : )

Your husband did the right thing. Stay away from comparisons. Most of the time it is hurtful to you as well as the person you are comparing yourself too. You mind and body will thank you for stopping the comparing. It is hard to do, but after you start to realize how positive it makes you feel you will continue on.
