Update: My kettle bells and I have come to a mutual understanding and we’ve agreed to meet twice a week for two reps of five exercises. We’ve agreed to take things s—l—o—w and build from that. I believe we’ll be happier and drama free now.
I’m in the process of moving to a new town for a new job! I’m really excited about this because I’ve been applying to jobs for two years straight and have come up with nothing but hundreds of interviews and rejection letters that follow. It’s a part time job at a college with “promises” of being full-time in the near future. It’s in an area where I know I’ll be able to intern/volunteer while working so I can gain more experience that way as well. All in all it’s a great move and opportunity.
Because of this new found news my workouts consist of moving boxes instead of weights which throws me off track a little bit. I’ve been trying to walk more because of this to (in my mind) balance it all out minutes wise. I’m allowing myself an “off” week (or two) to move there (this week) and get settled in to housing and work. “Off’ doesn’t mean fast food and no work outs, it just means that I may not be able to work out as much or eat what I’ve been trying to get accustomed to at the moment. In time I will be back on track.
I can’t get over that it’s the 20th of August ALREADY!!! Like, what? Where has the time gone? I just weighed in!
