My Idea of a Spark "Hero"

Wednesday, August 21, 2013

Sure, I admire those who've achieved the obvious. However, I shake my head in amazement and have done so during my 4.5 years on this site, at those who have chronic pain and/or terminal illnesses. They still get up and go go go as best they can. It's inspiring, for sure, and I wonder how many realize they are a source of inspiration.

Today I want to recognize all those past, present and future Spark friends who work through their physical challenges like true champs.

Big hug to all.

Amen to that. Two that come to mind right away, for me, are MrsSchenck and Jitzuroe. HUGE challenges but their spirits come sparkling through to inspire me and others. Nice blog.

I agree, those are the ones who made me realize that I didn't have to let cancer or pain issues stop me from at least trying; when it comes to exercise, there are ways to work around mobility and fatigue issues if you really try.

Yes, here's to those of us who struggle with additional burdens and still are shining lights to the Spark Community. I am blessed to have so many of you in my life. Thank you for giving me the chance to stop and be grateful!

I have friends who have cancer, whose spouses are dying, who are wheelchair bound, etc. but they are still here doing their best and offering support to others. Totally amazing!

That is so true. I have been amazed at some of SP friends, and what they endure, but stay positive, and keep others motivated.

Thank you one and all !! emoticon emoticon

    Big hug to you too!

I think we all have major challenges or one sort or another.....some are just more visible and identifiable than others. That being said, I could do with a little less challenge!
