#backontrack challenge day 20

This is actually from yesterday, I was too tired to post last night -

Aug 20

Congratulations on reaching Day 20 of #BackOnTrack! Name one thing you've STOPPED doing since the beginning of this challenge, and one thing you've STARTED doing. Ready, GO!!

I have stopped going through the drive thru with the exception of one coffee on my way to work. (Not quite ready to quit that yet.) I have started counting my caloric deficit, I have started packing my lunches more regularly, have green smoothies more regularly, and have started to see some results on the scale.

The keys (to taking pleasure in treating yourself without overindulging) is sensory awareness, portion sense, quality, and an eye to the big picture of overall wellness - French Women Don’t Get Fat. I think that is true. Most of the book I find condescending and not very helpful but even though I quit reading it for a while, I picked it back up because there are some good ideas about indulging yourself once in a while and how to make the most of it. I would not recommend wasting any money on it. It is not worth the few pearls of wisdom.
