Day 142 - Still Going Strong!

It was just a very hot day here in Chicagoland! We had an air pollution advisory day too. I only accomplished less than a mile in jogging and the remainder two miles in walking this morning. Even with my inhaler, I was having troubles with walking / jogging.

My legs were hurting was my lower back, but as a sore muscle pain...weird. I suppose I do use my back muscles to support my upper body from tipping over, LOL.

Today was the last day of summer for my youngest son. He had golf practice. My husband had school, no kids yet, and he is now coaching the 8th grade football. I had my second job interview for an on-call position. I hope I get it...and the interview went great!

When my husband came home, we took a mile walk together, just to talk about our day. It was still hot out so when we got home, I decided to get on the treadmill. I was able to jog two miles. (20 minutes per mile) It is a start! And now I have a goal: to jog longer and faster. My ultimate "bucket list" goal is to jog a 5K. Now with my inhaler, I can do it!
