My friend was told she was too young as well, but
eventually had both knees done at once last year.
She has noticed a big difference. Just hang in there
and wait. I hope you don't have too long to wait.
    Have a good weekend. emoticon

Try to get them to do that knee surgery despite your age - you will NOT regret the decision. I had my right knee done about a year and half ago and have been able to get back to walking and enjoying it again!

I'm sorry you're in so much pain, but I'm glad you're finally on your way to getting the surgery you need.
Sucks that you couldn't get the TKR in the first place. My boss needs both knees and both ankles replaced. He had left knee done first, then 9 months later left ankle. This winter he's getting both right knee and ankle done at once.
The recovery process was hard and painful but he's had such good results after physical therapy.
    Hang in there!

They told my m-i-l she was too young, but it was the best decision she ever made. Life was so much batter after she had both of them done.
